Dear Samina Aunty, Riad and Team Head Start,
School is the most important part of a child's as well as a parents' journey. It is the second layer of influences and inspiration after home.
Every child will surely learn some science, some maths, some language and some art. But the key is to remain human, be compassionate, respectful, grateful, loving and true to yourself. That is what we see Leia becoming through these years.
It is only through the concept of eating food that may not be of your choice, cleaning up later, respecting other's work, taking turns in helping, being aware of special needs, that can keep one grounded. I admire these values the school has inculcated.
Leia is walking on her own path without considering any competition or threat. We truly appreciate this approach. Because when you walk on a competitive path you just want to be better than others. It also means that you feel happy when others do not do well.
Head Start has shown Leia her strengths and has always encouraged her to walk her own journey, at her own pace.
We are happy that she comes back home happy. And that is what matters the most.
