      Welcome to our programme! The Montessori philosophy and pedagogy forms the core of what we do and practice. We follow the developmental needs of the child, their desire for exploration and discovery; the importance of building relationships with those around them and the environment so that we grow and learn together.<\/h1>\n

      Ages: 2\u00bd to 6<\/b>
      \n<\/b>Sessions\/Timings
      \n<\/b>We offer two sessions, both of which have the same duration. Children attend either one of these.

      \n<\/span>EARLY SESSION<\/span>
      \n<\/span> 8.30am to 12.30pm \u2013 ages 2.5 to 4 years<\/span>
      \n<\/span> 8.30am to 2pm \u2013 ages 4 to 5 years <\/span>
      \n<\/span> 8.30am to 3pm \u2013 ages 5 to 6 years<\/span>
      \n<\/span>LATER SESSION<\/span>
      \n<\/span>9.30am to 1.30pm \u2013 ages 2.5 to 4 years<\/span>
      \n<\/span>9.30am to 3pm \u2013 ages 4 to 5 years<\/span>
      \n<\/span>9.30am to 4pm \u2013 ages 5 to 6 years<\/span><\/p>\n

      A Mixed Age Group Community<\/b><\/p>\n

      The magic of a community is revealed with its range of ages, experiences and abilities. This is enabled in a Montessori classroom. Children are part of a mixed age group and learn at their own pace. They also learn to help and be helped. When older children assist younger ones, they share their own understanding and mastery of concepts. The younger ones learn naturally from the older ones. Watching children help each other is joyous.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      The Extended Session<\/strong><\/p>\n

      The Extended Session is part of the last year of the Pre Primary programme; the year before children move to Grade I. They get used to a longer day and an extended work cycle.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Age is not the only criteria for the Extended Session. Both academic and emotional readiness are considered and discussed with our parents.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Early Years Montessori offers an Infancy Programme (15 months to 3 years).<\/span><\/p>\n
